Sania, Shoaib

Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza whose engagemnet with her childhood friend Sohrab Mirza was called off recently is going to marry Pakistan’s ace cricketer Shoaib Malik. The news was first delivered on Pakistan based television channel Geo TV. Later on the news spread like inferno, Sania’s father Imran Mirza has himself confirmed the news and put lid on all the rumour traders. According to Imran Mirza both Sania and Shoib would be engaged in next few days and the marriage would take place after engagement without much delay. Sania’s father also confirmed that both Sania and Shoib would continue representing their respective countries in their games. Most likely the couple would live in Dubai. Shoaib Malik has been living in Dubai for quite long time.

Incidentally, Shoaib was previously declared to have married another Hyderabad girl, Ayesha Siddiqui, in 2002 over the phone, even though the cricketer said he was merely engaged to her. He was also linked with Bollywood actress Sayali Bhagat.

Favorite outdoor sport

Tennis is my favorite outdoor sport. And I am a huge fan of Sania. I hope she continues her career even after marriage successfully. Apart from tennis the other sport that I like is swimming. I participated in swimming competitions too. It is a great sport; but never go swimming without your swim goggles and swim cap.
