I was actually searching the web to find out a reputed Tucson vet and stumbled upon your post. The post is really shocking. The existing railway network in north Bengal has already taken a toll on wildlife in the region with nearly 25 elephants killed in the past five years. I think the railway track must be done in a manner so that it causes least disturbance in an already fragile economic zone. Either they should construct an elevated track, or ensure that no trains run in the circuit during the night.
