The challenge with being an outsourcer
Outsourcing do not want the world
The challenge with being an outsourcer is the fact you are in most cases invisible. Most organisations that use overseas outsourcing don't want the world to know and so include confidentiality clauses in their contracts and your continued work from them is dependant on your ability to keep quiet about your involvement.
Freelancing sites are a route to market but they are highly competitive and tend to have thin margines plus getting those first dozen contracts with no feedback is challenging.
The key with this type of work is to build relationships. If you cannot shout about your clients you are dependant on them being a strong source of work and so must keep good relationships with them. By good I don't mean emailing them on a daily basis about if there is more work you can do for them.
If you want to start selling your services start positioning yourself. Start by making a wordpress site where you talk about your services also have a photograph of yourself on the first page. Now go to forums or go offline and sell your services. As far as pricing is concerned it depends on what you are comfortable to start with.
